John Goodrich serves as a Portfolio Manager and is the newest addition to Sperry Van Ness Management and Leasing. Graduating from California State University, Long Beach with degrees in communications, motion picture production and photography, John has over 23 years of experience in property management, and has managed a full spectrum of commercial properties totaling over 12 million square feet in California and through out the western United States.

Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, John served as an Asset Manager for nine years with Furst Commercial Real Estate, Irvine California. Furst Commercial was an equity owner and management company specializing in regional shopping centers. John managed over 1.7 million square feet including a 350,000 square foot regional mall in Palm Springs. John was a contributing factor in the sale of his portfolio starting in 2006 which realized a net profit to the investors of over $85 million.

Over the years, John has obtained an enormous knowledge in building operations and construction management as well as leasing and tenant relations. He looks forward to contributing his expertise to his new home at Sperry Van Ness.

John has been married to his lovely wife Julie for over 33 years and has two wonder sons and daughter in-laws. John and Julie look forward to becoming grandparents in the coming years. John is passionate about golf, flying and sailing, and leads several ministries at his local church.
